It's somewhat of a shame that Notepad doesn't provide a bit more in terms of features, however, that doesn't necessarily mean it's useless. From the top toolbar, you can add new news, remove existing ones, as well as save them with default or custom names. You can add an unlimited number of notes, all of which are displayed in the app's main window. There are no extra menus, no impressive features, just a simple toolbar at the top, a note selection pane in the left, and the area for writing notes on the right side of the GUI, and that's about it. Super straightforward, no-frills note-taking appīefore anything else, it's worth noting that Notepad is a WYSIWYG app. If you're not keen on having the latest and greatest features at your disposal, and if you're running Linux on your computer, you might want to check out Notepad.
